Overview
Melillo Consulting will assess a virtualized hardware replacement scenario for migrating “x86” -based existing candidate servers, onto the VMware Virtual
Infrastructure 3 platform. The delivered report will include capacity utilization profiles of existing candidate servers, one virtualized/consolidated scenario modeled as two phases and based on a computer-driven target hardware configuration and resource utilization targets, and a TCO/ROI analysis.

Qualifying Environments
This engagement addresses servers running x86-based Windows Server and Linux operating systems. It is priced for two server quantities: 100 Servers and 250 Servers.
Deliverables
The Melillo consultant will provide an Executive Virtualization Analysis document and presentation that include the utilization of existing candidate server equipment, detailed target virtualized scenarios, a sample VMware host server quote, and three-year cost of ownership and return models. Written materials will be provided in electronic form, in Microsoft Office or PDF formats.
Time Frame
